NEW TO THE RESCUE!! April 2011
Recently we rescued 7 horses from one chronic breeder. In this group is 4 arabs, 2 thoroughbreds and one deceased. They are currently recouping from their malnutrition and neglect. Keep them in your prayers.
Below are some updated pics.

This is the Momma that was very depleted and still nursing her colt. She has made great progress in her recovery. She is very smart and gentle and has passed this trait on to her colt (which we have successfully weaned) She is very tolerant to grooming. stands for the farrier, and ties very calmly. We dont know yet if she rides. Due to her weight or lack there of, we have not yet tried to work her. She is very very sweet. She is highly bred and is papered.

This is the colt. He is super smart and loves attention. He is currently bay but is turning grey.
He has done alot of growing in the past weeks. He works in the round pen, picks up his feet for the farrier, ties, and grooms. He is a great pal for the foreman.

This is Lovey. We believe she is last years breeding from the same mother. She is a yearling bay but has alot of grey also. She is soooooo freindly! She also is learning to work in the roundpen. She ties, grooms and picks up her feet for the farrier. Very smart and gentle but has alot of energy. She also has an underbite which is toooo cute.

This is Dovey! She hangs out with Lovey and they are pretty good freinds. She is a little more shy and is working at the same speed as Lovey. She also is a yearling.

This is a 2 year old arab stud colt. He is learning manners but just doesnt want to cooperate right now. We are saving up the money to geld him. His lessons will go much better as soon as that is completed.
Now on to the throughobreds!!!

This is Maggie. She is a former Racehorse and was nominated to run in the Belmont during her racing career. She is very gentle and is recouping well. She is about 18 hands in height and has gorgeous legs. She also is papered.
Her colt is also with us; a 3 yoa gelding. He is beautiful but had never been handled. He is a work in progress.

This is the challenge thoroughbred 3 yoa colt. He is doing well and learning his manners.

This is Sadie. She was brought to us by a private party. She is gentle and rides well but has a chronic issue with her right front. It doesnt seem to bother her unless she is worked in tight circles. She also has an issue with her rear end. She gave birth at one time and must have ripped. No one sewed her up and so she makes funny noises when running. Her gentle ways make you overlook her flaws. She is a treasure.
Noble Event
'Noble' is a 7 year old retired racehorse with one first place win. He is a big gelding at 17 hands. Noble is very sweet. Because he was a racehorse, he only understands jockey cues and needs someone to teach him the cues for pleasure/western riding. Noble does very well on trail rides. He behaves for the farrier, and we are overcoming some trailering issues that he had when he came to us.
Hurray!
Noble has found a forever home!
**ADOPTED 5-18-09**
CONGRATULATIONS TO YVONNE!

Knight
Knight is a 17 year old appendix quarterhorse. He stands at 16.5 hands. He is a gelding with a strong nature and needs an experienced handler who will not tolerate his antics. He rides beautifully, though he is a little rusty on trail. Behaves well for the farrier, and loads well. Knight has a dependent personality and becomes very protective of female pasture-mates.(even donkeys!) For this reason it would be best for Knight to be housed with geldings.
Knight found his home with Noble!

Molly
Molly is a 9 year old appaloosa mare. She is about 15 hands tall, which is average for a horse. She is very friendly and loves attention. We are working with her on her manners for the farrier, as she does not like to have her rear feet handled. She can be a bit spoiled and needs someone who will provide her with consistent discipline. She rides great in arena but is rusty on trail. She is careful of her rider.
Molly was adopted by a family with a 12 yoa girl!
Molly is very happy!
Congratulations to Gail!
Update>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Molly is learning to Jump!!!!
Melissa has decided to ride english and Molly is doing well!!!

Lady Godiva
'Lady' is a rescued 13 year old palomino mustang mare. She has been trained in natural horsemanship. Lady is a new arrival, and we will post more information about her as we get to know her.
Lady was adopted by our Ranch Foreman.
Congratulations Harlon!
He has alot of work ahead of him.
